Jonathan reintroduces viewers to one of Big Cat Diary-s most appealing stars ever, Toto, the baby cheetah. With only his hard-working mother to protect him,Toto is desperately vulnerable. The plains of the Masai Mara are swarming with predators that could kill him in an instant.

Simon is back with the mighty Marsh Pride of lions. The pride seems happy and healthy, but there could be trouble ahead as Notch, the lone pride male, is facing a takeover. If the coup succeeds, the invading males will kill all the cubs less than one year of age so stakes are high.
